Nick Blasi had 3 singles, Landon Powell homered, and Lenny DiNardo pitched 6 scoreless innings for the win. Ryan Shealy homered for the Royals.

Scott McClain homered twice and had 4 RBI while Clay Timpner added a home run of his own to go with 3 RBI. San Francisco's Omar Vizquel played 4 innings in an injury rehab appearance.
From Chukchansi Park in Fresno. The Grizzlies won, 6-2. Nick Pereira allowed 2 runs over 6 1/3 innings for the win. Justin Leone homered for Fresno while Scott McClain and Brett Harper both had 2 hits each. Brandon Wood picked up 2 hits for the Bees.

In a unique offensive outburst, every one of Sacramento's 7 hits came in succession to start their half of the fourth, highlighted by a Casey Rogowski triple and capped off with consecutive doubles by Matt Murton, Danny Putnam and Donnie Murphy. Rogowski and Putnam's both plated two runs.
From Chukchansi Park in Fresno. The Sounds won, 15-9. Chris Woodward's grand slam in the sixth highlighted a 4-for-5 game along with 6 RBI to lead the Sounds. Joe Dillon and Laynce Nix homered and drove in 3 while J.R. Hopf homered and had 2 RBI. Travis Ishikawa homered twice, tripled and finished with 5 RBI for the Grizzlies.
From Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton. The Blaze won, 2-1. Henry Rodriguez pitched 6 strong innings for Stockton but Bakersfield scored twice in the late innings for the win. Jed Morris homered for Stockton.
From John Thurman Field in Modesto. The Nuts won, 3-0. Shane Lindsay went 6 innings for the win, allowing 1 hit and 3 walks against 9 strikeouts. Mike Paulk, Cole Garner and Daniel Mayora had 2 hits apiece, one of Paulk's coming on a triple.
From Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton. The Oaks won, 6-0. Ed Easley led Visalia with a pair of home runs and 4 RBI while Eddie Romero worked 6 2/3 innings of 5-hit ball, walking none and striking out 7. Oakland's Keith Foulke allowed a solo homer in 2 innings of work on an injury rehab assignment.
From John Thurman Field in Modesto. The Blaze won, 10-6. Julio Borbon led an 18-hit attack, going 3-for-5 with 2 doubles, 2 runs, 4 RBI and a stolen base. K.C. Herren and Manny Pina also had 3 hits and Grant Gerrard doubled twice. Michael McKenry homered for Modesto.
From Recreation Park in Visalia. The Oaks won, 2-1. Cesar Valdez allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 7 innings, walking none and striking out 5. Gerardo Parra, Pete Clifford and Bill Musselman had 2 hits apiece for the Oaks. Jason Place tripled in the only run for the Jethawks.
From Sam Lynn Ballpark in Bakersfield. The Blaze won, 7-2. Tommy Hunter threw 8 innings and allowed 2 runs on 6 hits with no walks and 8 strikeouts, including two where he struck out the side swinging. Chad Tracy had 3 hits while three other Blaze hitters collected a pair, and Jose Vallejo had 2 RBI. Jose Yepez had 3 hits for High Desert and Greg Halman homered.
From Lake Elsinore Diamond in Lake Elsinore. The Ports won, 2-0. Jason Fernandez worked 8 innings of 2-hit ball, allowing 3 walks along with 3 strikeouts and a hit batter. Sean Doolittle and Darryl Lawhorn both had a pair of hits and an RBI for Stockton, Doolittle's coming on a double.
From The Epicenter in Rancho Cucamonga. The Quakes won, 6-5. Tommy Mendoza's no-hitter was broken up by a home run off the bat of Greg Halman with 2 out in the 7th. Mendoza allowed just the 1 hit, 2 runs, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts over 7 full innings. Anthony Norman and P.J. Phillips had 2 RBI apiece for the Quakes. Halman also doubled to finish with 2 of the 3 Mavericks hits.
From Recreation Park in Visalia. The Nuts won, 11-9. Matt Repec's 2-run bloop single to right broke a tie in the 8th inning. He went 3-for-5 and finished with 4 RBI while Michael McKenry had 3 RBI of his own. Steve Mena went 3-for-4 with a homer and 4 RBI for the Oaks, who scored 8 times in the 2nd and 3rd innings but couldn't hold on to the lead.
From Clear Channel Stadium in Lancaster. The Jethawks won, 6-3. Josh Reddick went 3-for-4, doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs for Lancaster while Jon Still homered and Chih-Hsien Chiang doubled in two in a key 7th inning rally. Matt Sulentic homered and was the only Stockton batter with 2 hits.
From Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton. The Blaze won, 12-7. Chad Tracy's 3-run homer capped a 7-run 4th that gave the Blaze the lead after trailing 7-1. Tracy finished with 4 RBI while Marcus Lemon had 3. Zachary Phillips recovered from a rough start for the win. 6 of the 10 outs recorded by Stockton's Henry Rodriguez were strikeouts but he couldn't escape trouble in the 4th. Matt Spencer picked up 3 hits for the Ports.
